Allison started training at The Dance Club in Orem, Utah at the age of 9 in Contemporary, Ballet, and Tap. Growing up, Allison was very involved with competing at competitions and won National Senior Outstanding Dancer at New York City Dance Alliance 2005 and at Co. Dance Nationals 2004. She has performed live with Earth, Wind and Fire and in the opening and closing ceremonies at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was featured in the tap show Revolution that performed at the Joyce Theater in New York City in 2008. She later had the opportunity to be a cheerleader in the hit Disney movies High School Musical and High School Musical 2. She has also been seen on television in various commercials and as one of the top 8 on So You Think You Can Dance, Season 2. She later toured the United States with So You Think You Can Dance on their first National Tour. From her experience on SYTYCD, she loved trying new dance styles such as Ballroom. This led Allison into performing and touring with the show called Ballroom With A Twist, choreographed by Dancing With The Starts very own, Louie Van Amstel. Allison has danced for American Idol, Clay Aiken, performed live with pop singers Enrique Iglesias and Christina Perri. She was featured in Christina Perri’s music video “Jar of Hearts”. Most currently, Allison was seen on SYTYCD season 7 as an All-Star, and has been traveling around on a 40-city national tour. You can find her teaching at workshops and master classes all around the country and hopefully there are more amazing and new adventures to be thrown her way.
